Jose Mourinho who had now switched attention to derby clash with Manchester City on Sunday, December 10, accused Guardiola of employing mind games before the showdown.
Guardiola said David Silva is a doubt for Sunday, but Mourinho suggested the City boss was trying to trick him - just like Arsene Wenger, who claimed Alexandre Lacazette had no chance of facing United - only for him to start.

When asked about United's injuries, Mourinho said:
“You want the truth? What do you want?
“Eric Bailly has no chance for the weekend, Phil Jones a chance. Marouane Fellaini a chance, Zlatan a big chance.
“Nemanja Matic is injured but will play for sure. I’m telling the truth! It’s the truth. No stories of Lacazatte or David Silva. All the truth.
“Our opponents have all these issues. They have a big issue but, in the end, everybody is ready to play.
